Recapture specializes in re-styling vintage gowns for the modern bride. Most gowns are made with precious materials and laces that are difficult to find in today’s market. My goal is to re-create a dress to fit and flatter your figure and your style while preserving the beauty and integrity of the materials. With a wide variety of gowns from Victorian to the 1970′s, a bride is able to choose a design and style that is unique to her personality and her figure.
During an appointment I help the bride with a selection of gowns keeping in mind the style of wedding, the location, her figure and most of all her personal style. Next, we brainstorm on various alterations (“re-styling”) that could be made to enhance the best features of the dress as well as the bride.

After a brief winter hiatus I am very excited to be working with brides again! On my Etsy page I have listed the more casual dresses that are under $500. The remaining dresses I have in my inventory begin at $450. I am happy to make appointments for any of the dresses you see on My Etsy that are above $450.
Consultations: I have recently been consulting with brides on re-designing their own vintage dresses. My fees begin
at $60/hr. for consultation in person. I also offer consultation through email for brides out of the S.F. area.
